Lola Chapman
Lola Chapman is the CEO at Oxford Initiatives, bringing a touch of la dolce vita to leadership, while also serving as the Global Advancement Director at One Collective. Lola brilliantly blends strategic vision with creative flair.
When she isn't driving community impact, Lola channels her creative energy into the performing arts—she is a passionate actor and dancer, and proudly serves as the Chair for Oxford Operatics. No matter what project she is leading, Lola is fuelled by coffee, delicious cake, and a love for storytelling.

Victoria Luker
Vic combines her 20 years experience as a corporate and banking professional, and former Wantage Literary Festival Director of 7 years with charity expertise, resilience, and faith to lead Oxford Initiatives with precision and heart —keeping operations flowing and the mission community-focused. As a PCC member of St. John’s, Grove, she brings a commitment to service and spiritual grounding to her leadership role. Off-duty, Vic enjoys the great outdoors alongside her husband, grown-up daughter, and dog.

Trustee and TreasurerBatsi Mhuka
Batsi, is a finance professional with over 15 years’ experience across education, charities, and corporate environments. I’m passionate about helping people feel more confident, clear, and in control of their finances. Outside of work, you’ll find me travelling, enjoying good chocolate, spending time with my wife Tapiwa, serving at church, or singing whenever the mood strikes.
Founding TrusteeRev. Jon Steppe
Jon serves as a Founding Trustee for Oxford Initiatives, and is the Executive Vice President and CFO of One Collective, a global non-profit. With over 30 years of experience, Jon is a seasoned non-profit leader dedicated to global community transformation and shepherding leaders with a focus on spiritual and financial health. Jon lives in the Chicago area with his wife of over 35 years. They have 3 grown children and one grandchild spread across the US and Canada.
Meran Coombes
Mez is a Creative Lead and Content Producer specialising in corporate media. His work involves frequent overseas travel, capturing high-end event and brand content. A skilled Trustee, Meran is also a dedicated church youth leader in Cowley. He is married with two children, balancing global professional pursuits, family life and a strong faith.

Dr Joyce Francois
An Oxford PhD and soil scientist, Joyce is deeply committed to the natural and human environment. A long-time member at St Andrew’s Church, she has served as a Sunday school teacher, school governor and supports charities including Gatehouse and Asylum Welcome. Joyce blends academic rigor with governance expertise, championing intergenerational communities. She loves walking and finds her greatest joy in good company.

Clare is a Trustee for Oxford Initiatives and the Vicar of St Mary’s, Iffley and Area Dean of Cowley. A published author, Clare is passionate about community transformation, youth theatre, the arts, and making faith accessible and inclusive for all. Clare is married with three sons and enjoys walking, musical theatre, and swimming.
BookkeeperJohn Price
With a career spanning senior accountancy roles—including being Treasurer for Soul Survivor—John has transitioned from overseeing large-scale financial strategy to supporting smaller businesses and charities. As a retired Finance Director, John can combine his "big picture" experience with attention to detail in all sorts of ways. We are privileged to have his steady hand, enthusiastic spirit and seasoned wisdom guiding our bookkeeping.
